This past summer, the Alpha-Sigma chapter received a number of awards at Kappa Sigma's finest hour, Grand Conclave, which was hosted this year in Las Vegas, NV. Alpha-Sigma distinguished themselves as one of the elite Kappa Sigma chapters in the country by being one of only three out of over 250 Kappa Sigma chapters to take home the prestigious Founder's Circle Award for the highest level of chapter excellence. Along with it, Alpha-Sigma also won the F.A.C.E. Award for overall chapter excellence, Champion's Quest Champion Chapter for a chapter of over 50 members or the largest on campus, A Greater Cause Excellence Award for outstanding community service and philanthropy, and Outstanding Brothers In Action Award for an excellent pledge education program. The Alpha-Sigma Chapter was also recognized for their outstanding commitment to academics, having one of the top 25 cumulative chapter GPAs out of every Kappa Sigma chapter across the nation and Canada. Locally, The Alpha-Sigma chapter took home Ohio State's Outstanding Community Service Award for the most community service hours out of any Greek organization during the 2010-2011 school year.
